STK BALDERSHALLEN - five ASB SquashCourts in the city of Sundsvall, Sweden

Sundsvall is one of Sweden’s most fascinating cities, offering not only a cool urban setting but also unique natural landscapes. Located in the Medelpad province of Sweden’s northeast coast – it has everything you could wish for. According to some historians, Sundsvall brought industrialization to Sweden in 1849. And, boasting a major forestry industry since the early 20th century, it continues to be an important industrial hub. And with the new ASB SquashCourts at place - an important squash hub too!

Our newly installed courts in Sweden are this time a part of a project called Baldershallen, Sweden's nicest and most innovative racket and sports hall combining many different racket sports and other activities (Tennis, Padel, Badminton, Squash, Gym, etc.).

The facility is a part Sundsvalls Tennisklubb and offers a place where young people can "hang out" and socialize, get help with homework and practice their sport. At the same time it offers gyms and areas for training and relaxation as well.

The installation of five ASB System100 squash courts with ASB FreeStanding GlassBackWalls took approximately five weeks, in 2021 the squash court elements were moved inside the building so that it could be closed, and the installation itself then was finished in 2022 by a team of our experienced installers.
